Quicksilver

Quicksilver, aka Pietro Maximoff, is a Marvel Comics character with super speed powers. He has been a member of the Avengers, X-factor, the Inhumans and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. He is the the son of X-Men foe Magneto and the twin brother of the Scarlet Witch. He began his career as a reluctant member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, before being recruited to join the Avengers. He remained a member of the team for a short while, but did not have the same affection for it as his sister. He left the team, and eventually married the Inhuman Crystal. Pietro has skirted the line between heroism and villainy over the years, but generally sides with the heroes when it counts. He is a member of the most recent incarnation of X-Factor.
